The military and the Arroyo administration are ready to face any investigation that Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV will initiate on extrajudicial killings, a top government official said Monday.
National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales made this claim as he insisted that the government had nothing to do with the killings of activists and critics.
Let me get this straight: he led a “mutiny” in the middle of a business district, got apprehended, jailed, ran in the senatorial election and won. Now, newly proclaimed Sen. Trillanes’ first activity in the Philippine Senate is *drumroll please* initiate an investigation! COOL! Oh wait… aren’t the taxpayers paying the Senators to create laws?
